Danfreight Systems Honoured Here and in the United States

A big tip of the hat to Mr. Daniel Bérard and his team from the Joliette [Quebec] company Danfreight Systems (DFS). DFS received the Coup de cœur Emploi-Québec prize for the Lanaudière region as part of the Gala des 500, an event that highlights the efforts of companies in the area of job creation, somewhat like what is done with L’Écho du transport each year with its Top 50 de la création d’emploi en transport (Top 50 job-makers in transport). Wide Single Tires Being Tested

Another exclusive for L’Écho du transport in December: our participation in a meeting organized by the tire manufacturer Bridgestone and the Joliette transport company Danfreight Systems (DFS). This carrier was the first in Quebec to try Michelin’s X-One wide single tire when it appeared on the market. Now that Bridgestone’s Greatec model is also available, DFS wants to extend its field of comparison by testing both brands at the same time.

It would appear that DFS drivers quickly adopted the wide single tires. They immediately appreciated the comfort and superior road handling. As for the maintenance personnel, there are half as many tires to check, half as many wheels to disassemble.
